You may take a Digital Kodomo BASE laptop home to use.
This laptop is shared by everyone. Please read all the rules carefully so that both you and the next person can use it comfortably.

📋Who Can Borrow a Laptop
- ✅Attends Houkago Labo regularly (every session)
- ✅Has a genuine motivation to learn and study at home using a laptop
- ✅Both the child and parent/guardian have read and agreed to these rules

The next borrower is counting on you. Deadlines matter!

Charge the battery to at least 80% before returning it
Bring it to Houkago Labo fully charged.
Handling Rules

No eating or drinking near the laptop
Spills can break it. Keep the desk clear before using it.

Do not lend it to siblings, friends, or anyone not authorized
This laptop is on loan to you — please don't pass it to others.

Do not take the laptop outside the home (parks, cafes, etc.)
The risk of loss or theft increases outside. Home use only, please.
Usage Rules

Do not install any software or apps without staff permission
Downloads can carry viruses or break settings. Ask staff first!

Do not change or delete system settings or files
Changes can stop others from using the laptop. Always check with staff.

Do not view violent, sexual, or otherwise harmful content
Those sites often carry viruses too. Close it immediately and tell staff.

Do not use the internet to hurt others (bullying, harassment, impersonation)
Words can deeply wound people even when you can't see them.

Do not post personal information online (name, address, phone, school, etc.)
Strangers may misuse your information — stay safe!

Do not use it exclusively for games or watching videos
This is a learning laptop. Use it with study and creativity in mind.
If Something Goes Wrong
If anything happens, please contact staff right away — don't hide it.
- 🔍 Lost: Contact staff immediately. You may be asked to file a police report.
- 🔨 Damaged: Do not attempt to repair it yourself — bring it to staff as-is.
- 🦠 Virus or unusual behavior: Stop using it immediately and describe the situation to staff.
- 💳 Damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent behavior may result in partial or full repair costs being charged.
If Rules Are Not Followed
Violations may result in the following actions:
- ①Parents / guardians will be contacted and guidance will be provided.
- ②Lending may be suspended or future participation may be denied.
- ③Harm to others (data destruction, defamation, etc.) may require compensation or a formal apology.
- ④Serious violations may be referred to the relevant authorities.
