On Saturday, November 14, Digital Kodomo BASE will visit the "Irishi Festival" at Iriarai 4th Elementary School, which marks its 95th anniversary this year. From 1 to 3 p.m., we will run a "Digital Chase Game" played in Minecraft.
A game of tag in a Minecraft school
In the Digital Chase Game, children run through a school built in Minecraft, trying not to get caught by the hunters. Run as hard as you can through the school inside the computer.
We will use a special chase-game world that was built and tested at Houkago Lab, our after-school lab. Since October, the Minecraft team at Houkago Lab has also been making programs for events, such as chase games.
