September 30 will mark the end of our current activity period, and new places will become available from October.
Applications open on September 1. If your child wants to learn computer skills or needs a safe place outside school, please begin by arranging a visit or consultation.

A digital community space where every child can go at their own pace

At After-School Lab, we value every child's desire to learn computer skills and try something new with technology.

We actively welcome children who find it difficult to attend school, children with a developmental disability diagnosis, children who have developmental differences or difficulties in group settings without a formal diagnosis, and children whose family or financial circumstances have limited their access to computers and digital learning.

No diagnosis or previous computer experience is required. Children do not have to do the same activities as everyone else. We aim to be a place where each child can move at their own pace and discover what they enjoy and do well.

  • You want to spend time in a way that fits your developmental needs

For parents and guardians: After-School Lab is not a medical or therapeutic support facility. However, we will make reasonable accommodations wherever possible so each child can feel safe and comfortable. Please feel free to discuss any concerns or accommodations with us when arranging a visit.
We are also starting Digital Kodomo BASE Furatto Lab in October 2026, a digital space for children who find school hard, and their parents (monthly to start).
