When you look at your gradebook, your eyes will be drawn to numbers and symbols. I'm happy about the good things, and I'm concerned about the bad things. However, there is an important power that is difficult to see through grades alone. When researching or preparing for a presentation, there are times when it is important not to make a decision based on the first answer you find.
What makes a real difference is not only grades, but the habit of thinking and asking for yourself.
People who ask questions are strong
AI and search are useful, but you decide what to listen to. People who can ask good questions can extract good hints from tools. If you don't have a question, you won't know how to use it even if you look at the answer.
Thinking skills can be practiced
When I watch the news, I think, "Why?" When you lose a game, think, "Where?" When I create a piece of work, I think, "How can I make it even better?" You can practice little by little every day.
Let's think about one thing we saw today and ask, "Why?"
At Digital Kodomo BASE, we value the time we spend using computers, AI, and programming to not only provide answers but also to formulate questions. The ability to think will help your future self.
