Even though you are in trouble, you may not be able to say "help me." Sometimes you feel like you don't want to cause trouble or be seen as weak.
Being able to ask for help is one of the strengths that helps you keep going.
tell me what's bothering you
It's important to just say, "Help me," but if you can be a little more specific, saying, "I don't understand this," "I can't move on from this screen," or "I'm having a hard time," it will be easier for the other person to help you.
practice receiving help
When someone helps you, say "thank you." That's enough. If you have experience of receiving help, you will be able to help others next time.
Practice saying "Please help me here" out loud once when you are in trouble.
At Digital Kodomo BASE, we work together to find out what we don't understand. The ability to say "help" is a strength that can be used on computers, in studies, and in everyday life.
