Life Rules You Can Learn From Minecraft

When you enter a new world in Minecraft, you don't start out with a big house or strong equipment. Collect wood, make tools, and gradually increase what you can do.

Life also expands little by little when you collect knowledge, tools, and experience.

First collect the materials

To craft anything in Minecraft, you need materials. The ingredients of life are what we read, what we hear, what we try, and what we fail at. What may seem useless at first may turn out to be valuable material later.

You won't know until you try making it

You won't be able to complete a house or circuit just by thinking about it in your head. First, try setting it up, try moving it, and if it fails, fix it. This flow will lead to programming, study, and future work.

What you can do today
Decide on one power that you want right now, and collect only one action that could be the material for it. You can read books, watch videos, or ask friends.

At Digital Kodomo BASE, we value the experience of children creating their own worlds using computers and digital tools. Let's start with a small collection of materials.
