Digital Kodomo BASE works to expand opportunities for children to use computers, AI, and programming regardless of their home environment. We want children to be able to research, create, present, and ask for help using digital tools.
- Free digital experience events for children, including programming, AI, and PC workshops
- After-school learning space operation through the After-school Lab program
- PC distribution and lending for children who do not have enough access to a computer at home
- Operation of a child-focused Minecraft learning server
- Publication of digital literacy articles, Q&A pages, and learning resources for children
Donations are used for children's learning environments, event and workshop operation, PC refurbishment and distribution, educational materials, server operation, and development costs. We accept donations by credit card through Stripe and by bank transfer.
Our organization is a regular specified nonprofit corporation in Japan and is not currently a certified NPO corporation. Donations are therefore not eligible for Japanese individual income tax or resident tax donation deductions. Donation receipts are issued by email as PDF files upon request.
