What Matters More Than Test Scores?

On the day you get your test back, you may feel happy or depressed when you see your score. Your score is a clue to how much you know now. However, scores are not the only important skill in life. How you use digital tools can change how you learn.

One ability that is more important than scores is the ability to keep thinking. Even if you can't find an answer right away, research, listen, try, and fix it. Having this power will help you move forward in situations other than studying.

Memorizing the answer is not enough

If you use AI and search, you can quickly find answers. However, whether the answer is really correct and whether you can explain it in your own words is another matter. That requires the ability to think.

The ability to start over is also important.

When I get a bad score, instead of thinking, "It's over," I think, "What should I do differently next time?" Correcting your mistakes is not just a time to improve your score, but also a time to develop how to use your brain.

What you can do today
Choose one question you got wrong and write in one word why you got it wrong.

At Digital Kodomo BASE, we use computers and AI to not only receive answers, but also create time to think for ourselves. Together, we will develop the power that goes beyond scores.
