When something doesn't work no matter how many times I try, I sometimes think, "I should give up." Feeling like giving up is not weakness. You get tired because you work hard.
People who keep going often learn that not giving up can include resting, changing methods, and returning with a new plan.
change the way you do things
If you can't do it alone, ask someone. If you can't make it longer, make it shorter. If it's too difficult, go back one step. If you change the way you do things, things that have stopped may start to move.
Rest is also a strategy
If you continue while feeling tired, it may become even more painful. If you look at it after resting, you may be able to see where to fix it. Resting is a strategy, not an escape.
Choose one thing you want to stop doing and think, "If you could make a small change in how you do it, what would it be?"
At Digital Kodomo BASE, we value the time that children can try out as many times as they like. The strength to not give up is also the strength to come back.
