A Smartphone Alone Is Not Enough

Watch videos, send messages, and do research. Smartphones can be used immediately and are very convenient. If you use it every day, it's easy to think that "this one is enough."

A smartphone is convenient, but it is not always enough for learning and creating well.

Tools for seeing and tools for making

Smartphones are good at "viewing and returning immediately." Computers are good at "creating, comparing, and organizing." Write reports, create tables, organize images, write programs. These things are easier to do on a computer.

It's not that one is better than the other, but that their roles are different. If you can only use your smartphone, the range of things you can do will be limited.

Future options will change

Children who are familiar with computers will have an advantage at school and at work. That is because you can quickly learn the flow of researching, creating, repairing, and sending.

Children who are exposed to computers will have more options for their future than those who grow up with only smartphones. Increasing your tools means increasing what you can do.

What you can do today
Try doing one thing you do on your smartphone on your computer and compare the differences.

At Digital Kodomo BASE, we want to raise children who can create things and not just look at them. I would like you to learn about the world beyond your smartphone.
