On most services, anyone under 18 needs permission from an adult at home. Check that first.
"Not What I Expected" Happens
A photo can look clean while the real item has scratches. Read the description before you buy and ask about anything you're unsure of.
The same goes when you're selling. Writing about marks and wear in advance prevents trouble after it arrives.
Be Careful With Your Address and Messages
Sending something means an address is needed. Some services let you ship without showing your name and address, so check whether you can use that.
If someone says "let's meet up" or "let's talk outside the app," say no. Most services forbid it, and nobody can help you if something goes wrong.
Items that don't arrive, arrive broken, or messages that go nowhere: don't handle it alone. Show an adult at home straight away.
Before using a marketplace app, check the age rules with someone at home.
At Digital Kodomo BASE, we value checking the rules before any deal.
