Asking for Help Isn't Telling Tales

You stay quiet because you're afraid of being called a snitch.

But telling someone so that you or a friend stops being hurt isn't telling tales. It isn't to get anyone in trouble; it's to make it stop.

You Can Choose How to Tell It

You can ask first: "please don't use my name," or "just listen for now." It doesn't have to become a big thing immediately.

When, where, who, what. Noting what you can makes it easier to say. Even if you can't explain it well, showing the note works.

Pick Someone Easy to Talk To

If your class teacher feels hard, try the school nurse, a club teacher, someone at home, a relative. Anyone is fine.

If the first person doesn't get it, tell a second. You don't have to give up. There are also places outside school.

What you can do today
When you ask for help, start with "please just listen for now."

At Digital Kodomo BASE, we don't see asking for help as weakness.
