A 1% Rate Doesn't Mean You Win in 100 Tries

Game gacha often says "1% chance." It's easy to think that means one win per hundred pulls.

It doesn't. Each pull is 1% on its own, and how many times you've missed doesn't change the next one.

Some People Pull 100 Times and Get Nothing

With a 1% rate, about one in three people who pull a hundred times win nothing at all. That isn't bad luck; that's how it works.

Even when it feels like "it must be due," the rate doesn't move. The more you've spent, the more you want it back, but the next pull is still 1%.

Winners post their screens; people who missed don't. That makes wins look more common than they are.

Set Your Limit Before You Pull

If you keep going until you win, there's no telling how much you'll spend. Deciding "this far today" before you start lets you stop.

Some games have a guaranteed point after a set number of pulls. Whether there is one changes the money needed, so check before you start.

What you can do today
Before you pull, decide today's limit and write it down.

At Digital Kodomo BASE, we value choosing with an understanding of what the odds mean.
